Types of Membership

1. Ordinary Membership

   Opens to all teachers teaching science & mathematics in primary & secondary schools and junior colleges; and former science & mathematics teachers now holding administrative posts in education

2. Life Membership

   Opens to all persons interested in science & mathematics education

All categories of members will receive the following:

• Electronic publication of papers on Science education published by STAS
• $50 membership discount for overseas educational trip organised by STAS
• Membership discount of $100 for Conference organised by STAS
• Distinguished Science Lecture Series by renowned Scientists organised by STAS and SCS

Only ordinary members are eligible to vote and to hold office in the Management Committee of the Association. We would like to encourage teachers who are interested to hold office or participate in working committees to write to the Chairman.

Fees and Subscription

The current subscriptions are as follows:

Life Membership	$250 (once off payment)
Ordinary Member	$30 per academic year

Cheque payable to "Science Teachers Association of Singapore"
